The 2nd International IPO Congress was organized by the International Police Organization IPO HQ in Milan, Italy where law enforcement officials and members participated from worldwide.

 

A delegation from the International Police Organisation Pakistan, under the leadership of President IPO Pakistan, Dr. Maqsood Ahmed attended the congress where he shared his expertise in the field of money laundering and terror financing. Dr. Maqsood Ahmed also emphasized the significance of modern policing in developing countries and inter-agency coordination and cooperation among police organizations worldwide in the domain of training and capacity building.

 

The International Police Organization (IPO) is a multinational professional Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organisation in Special Consultative Status with United Nations ECOSOC since 2022.

 

The congress brought innovation to bring together all the IPO section leaders and members to get to know each other, to exchange ideas and experiences as well as to get acquainted with the programs and the guidelines of IPO for the coming years.

 

IPO President Ilija Zivotic announced the next international congress of IPO to be conducted in Pakistan.

 

On the occasion, DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed welcomed the decision of the IPO President and termed it an honor for Pakistan Police to host the IPO members from worldwide in Pakistan.
